2006 \ SYNAPSE

SYNAPSE – the invisible void,
6th October 7 – 12pm @
3 Maranoa St (behind KFC)

Fire up the thought process, stimulate the senses and hold on, as the Upholstery Contemporary Arts manifests its latest multi-sensory art-feast and gets into your mind with Synapse- The invisible void.

Come on a journey into the void with three of the North Queensland’s dynamic emerging contemporary artists Nicola Bryars, Monique Drinkwater and Tijn Meulendijks, as they explore the process of thought to reality and the energy of the invisible void between, the inter-section of ideas that is the synapse itself!

This unique exhibition will include multi-media installations, organic sculpture, paintings, poetry and assemblage and will feature a first time performance piece from the Dangerous Bee collaboration.

DJ, The Baron will be mixing beats to sooth the synaptic impulses and the Green Ant Cantina providing food for thought and smart drinks all night.

This is a one night only event so don’t miss out
